LOU Signing: Arts Access Miami & M-DCPS

A new countywide agreement aims to expand access to arts education for all Miami-Dade students, regardless of background or location. This public signing event brings together school district leadership, local arts organizations and students to celebrate a shared commitment to creative equity.
Held Tuesday, June 10 at The Bass, the LOU Signing: Arts Access Miami & M-DCPS marks a formal partnership between Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the Arts Access Miami coalition. Through this Letter of Understanding, participating organizations—including Arts for Learning, Miami Music Project and Guitars Over Guns—will collaborate to offer consistent, high-quality programming in music, dance, visual arts, media arts and theater across the district.
The event will feature remarks from Superintendent Jose L. Dotres, district officials and partner representatives, along with student performances. Admission is free and open to the public.
