Mahj 102 with Mahj in Miami

American Mahjong players can sharpen their strategy and table confidence during an intermediate-level session at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Mahj 102 takes place Tuesday, October 20 and is designed for participants who have completed Mahj 101 or already understand the basics of American Mahjong.

Led by an instructor from Mahj in Miami, the class revisits the Charleston, proper dealing and the flow of play while focusing on decision-making, pattern recognition and practical tips for choosing a direction during a hand. The format is structured as a supportive refresher for players who know the rules but want to play more comfortably and consistently.

Participants should already be familiar with the tiles, National Mah Jongg League card, Charleston and basic gameplay.
