Masters & Voices
Through Feb 24, 2026
weekly on Tuesday
Starting: 6:00 PM
Emerging jazz talent takes center stage during an evening of live performance and mentorship at The Betsy on Miami Beach.
Piano Masters & Voices unfolds on Tuesday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 24 at The Gallery in the hotel, as part of the Collegiate Jazz Artist Initiative. The weekly series pairs internationally acclaimed pianist Prof. Tal Cohen with a standout collegiate jazz pianist selected from the studios of leading educators, highlighting the next generation of Miami’s jazz artists.
From 6 to 9 p.m., Cohen sets the tone with a masterful set that reflects his global career as a performer and composer. From 9 to 11 p.m., a rising student artist takes the stage for a solo performance, offering audiences an opportunity to hear fresh interpretations and original voices within the jazz tradition.
The initiative provides upper-level undergraduate and graduate jazz pianists with live performance experience, professional mentorship and direct engagement with Miami’s music community. Presented with support from The Betsy Hotel, The Betsy Community Fund at The Miami Foundation and the Jorge Perez Family Foundation CreARTE Program, the series underscores the hotel’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture.
Admission is free.
