Mids Market in Miami’s Little River neighborhood will host the second stop of a traveling celebration dedicated to matcha culture and community. MatchaFest Miami: The Matcha Takeover takes place on Saturday, May 17, bringing together tea enthusiasts, local vendors and creatives for an afternoon of curated experiences.
Following its first stop in Orlando, the festival continues its tour in Miami before heading to other cities across the U.S., including Tampa, Austin and New York. The event features a variety of matcha and tea offerings, a marketplace of local brands and creators, DJ sets, exclusive merchandise and interactive experiences designed for connection and discovery.
The event offers tiered admission options, including an Early Sip Pass ($10), Tote Lover Ticket ($25), which includes an exclusive MatchaFest tote, and the YOKO Experience ($35) which adds a ceremonial-grade matcha tin to the package. Paid ticket holders receive priority entry beginning at noon, while free RSVP guests will be admitted after 12:30 p.m. as capacity allows.
