Mayer Hawthorne
Jan 03, 2026
From: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
A night of analog soul and left-of-center pop unfolds at ZeyZey Miami as Mayer Hawthorne brings his shape-shifting musical world to the venue’s open-air stage. Known for folding Detroit hip-hop sensibilities into modern soul, soft-focus yacht rock and nimble pop songwriting, Hawthorne has spent the past decade-plus building a catalog that slips easily between eras. His productions, equal parts glossy, wry and deeply melodic, have carried him from Stones Throw beginnings to major-label acclaim, Grammy nominations, and collaborations that bridge underground taste and mainstream reach.
The evening offers a chance to hear an artist long admired for his craftsmanship and cultural fluency, drawing on the same instincts that shaped his beloved early singles, his Tuxedo project with Jake One and his recent return with “The Pool,” a psychedelic, desert-drift single that hints at the edges he’s exploring now.
Tacos María opens the night with food service when doors rise at 8 p.m., paired with happy-hour drink specials from 8 to 9 p.m. The show is 18+ and runs through 2 a.m., with additional performers to be announced.
