Medicine Wheel Canadian Indigenous Retreat
Nov 21, 2026
From: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
A full-day nature-based retreat uses the Medicine Wheel as a framework for reflection on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary. Held Saturday, November 21, the program is led by Patch president Suzanne Jewell and Mélanie Paul, an Innu guide, facilitator and speaker from Mashteuiatsh, Québec.
The day combines guided time in nature, mindful observation, reflection, storytelling and group connection across the sanctuary’s 20 acres. Paul introduces the Medicine Wheel as an inner compass for considering areas of balance and attention, while Jewell incorporates Patch’s nature-based mindfulness practices. The program is designed as a reflective experience rather than instruction in Indigenous traditions.
Admission is $131 plus fees, and space is limited.
