Miami Beach Culture Crawl: Sneaker Charm Bar

Sneaker design, exhibition touring and hands-on customization shape The Wolfsonian–FIU’s July edition of Miami Beach Culture Crawl. Miami Beach Culture Crawl: Sneaker Charm Bar takes place Thursday, July 16, as part of the citywide monthly program connecting Miami Beach arts and culture venues through free evening programming. 

At The Wolfsonian, the evening begins with a free guided tour of Foot Notes: Shoes, Symbolism, and Society at 6:30 p.m. The exhibition examines footwear as a marker of identity, design innovation and social meaning, drawing from the museum’s collection to explore shoes in relation to culture, technology and everyday life.

Following the tour, participants can take part in a BYOS, or Bring Your Own Sneakers, Charm Bar. Guests are invited to customize their personal sneakers with charms, beads and other decorative elements.
