Miami Riverday Festival
Apr 11, 2026
From: 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
A free, family-friendly celebration brings the Miami River to life with hands-on activities, live music and opportunities to explore the city’s environmental and cultural heritage. Now in its 27th year, Miami Riverday returns to the Lummus Park Historic District with an afternoon dedicated to learning, play and connection along the riverfront.
Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy river boat rides, kids’ activities, environmental education stations, and guided historic tours that highlight the significance of the Miami River in shaping the region’s past and present. Live music sets the tone for the afternoon, with Melany Kap performing jazz from 1-3 p.m., followed by Latin music from 3-5 p.m., creating a vibrant soundtrack that reflects the city’s diverse cultural rhythms.
Miami Riverday takes place Saturday, April 11, from 1-6 p.m. at the Lummus Park Historic District, located at 250 NW North River Drive. The event is free and open to the public, offering a relaxed, welcoming way for residents and visitors to engage with one of Miami’s most historic waterways.
