Migguel Anggelo's ICONS: Celia Cruz

A tribute to the Queen of Salsa comes to life through the voice and vision of Migguel Anggelo in this genre-spanning concert honoring Celia Cruz.

ICONS: Celia Cruz is presented by the City of Aventura and takes place on Saturday, October 18, at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. The performance is the second installment in Anggelo’s Icons series, which celebrates boundary-breaking artists who challenge conventions and reshape cultural narratives. In honor of Cruz’s centennial year, Anggelo reflects on Latin identity, resilience and musical legacy.

Directed and developed by Adrian Alea, with musical direction by Jaime Lozano, the evening features an all-star band and special guest performers from the local community. Blending theatricality, storytelling and live music, the concert offers a vibrant and heartfelt homage to one of Latin music’s most enduring figures.
