Naudline Pierre
Dec 02, 2026
weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - Through Oct 31, 2027
From: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Monumental paintings of water, nymphs and bathing scenes transform ICA Miami’s three-story stairwell into an unfolding narrative. Naudline Pierre is on view November 30, 2026 through November 1, 2027 at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami in the Miami Design District.
The site-specific commission is the Brooklyn-based artist’s largest work to date. Connections among the paintings emerge as visitors move through the stairwell, with water linking scenes across the building’s vertical architecture.
Pierre’s imagined worlds bring together celestial beings, mythical figures and expansive landscapes. Drawing on fantasy, religious imagery and personal mythology, her paintings explore devotion, tenderness and transformation through encounters centered on care and intimacy.
Pierre has presented solo exhibitions at the Drawing Center in New York and the Dallas Museum of Art. Her work is held in collections including ICA Miami, Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Brooklyn Museum.
The commission is organized by Donna Honarpisheh, ICA Miami’s Curator of Art + Research.
