Nestor Torres Quartet
Apr 05, 2026
Starting: 5:00 PM
Latin Grammy-winning flutist Néstor Torres leads a live outdoor performance blending jazz, Latin and classical influences along Ocean Drive. Taking place Sunday, April 5 at Lummus Park in Miami Beach, the concert is part of the free Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a weekly program of open-air performances. The early evening event invites audiences to gather on the lawn with picnic blankets or chairs.
Torres is recognized for his expressive flute style, shaped by a range of musical traditions from classical to Afro-Caribbean and jazz. Over the course of his career, he has released numerous recordings and collaborated with artists including Gloria Estefan, Herbie Hancock and Arturo Sandoval, while also performing with major orchestras in the United States and abroad.
Presented by the Ocean Drive Association with support from the City of Miami Beach and the GMCVB, the series offers accessible live music experiences in a beachfront park setting.
