Night Tapes

Dream-pop textures, electronic production and field-recorded atmospheres shape Night Tapes’ performance at ZeyZey Miami. The London trio takes the Zaku Stage on Thursday, October 8 at the open-air Little Haiti venue. The concert follows the release of the band’s debut album, portals//polarities, which blends synth-pop, shoegaze, trip-hop and ambient influences.

Made up of Iiris Vesik, Max Doohan and Sam Richards, Night Tapes developed its sound through a mix of traditional instruments, laptop production and spontaneous sampling. Their recordings have incorporated sounds captured in locations ranging from Estonian wetlands to Mexican mountain landscapes, giving the music a sense of place alongside its layered studio textures.
