Noche de Arte: Full Circle

Hands-on art-making and live creation turn the hotel lobby into a working studio as visitors watch artists at work and try their own postcard collages.

Noche de Arte Full Circle: The collaboARTive Origin Story runs every Monday through November 24 at InterContinental Miami (Gallery 100). This weekly activation invites guests to engage directly with a featured Miami artist while enjoying light bites from InterContinental Miami and beverages available at the Toro Toro bar.

November’s edition brings co-founders Jean Blackwell Font and Ignacio “Iggy” Font back to the site where their community initiative began. The exhibition traces the roots of collaboARTive—a project centered on connection, accessibility and the transformative power of making—through two complementary practices. Jean’s ongoing 15 Generations project explores inherited memory and epigenetic trauma using assemblage, mixed media, printmaking and collage, while Iggy’s Structures Series reimagines discarded canvases and materials into works that balance text, geometry and process.

Open and free to the public, the program breaks down barriers between artist and viewer, offering conversation, creative play, and a close look at how collaboration helped shape one of Miami’s grassroots arts communities.
