Explore the dark corners of literature, culture and society at a new international festival dedicated to crime fiction and noir at the Koubek Center.
Noir Week Miami, taking place November 26–30, marks the first U.S. edition of this globally inspired event presented by Naarts Foundation, Miami Book Fair and the Koubek Center. Originating in 2014, the festival brings together writers, artists, scholars and the public for a week of book presentations, panel discussions, workshops and multimedia experiences. Programming spans literature, film, music, fashion, photography, gastronomy and more—culminating on Saturday, November 30 with appearances by over 10 Ibero-American authors.
In addition to celebrating the genre’s storytelling traditions, Noir Week Miami also engages with real-world issues of crime, power and justice through conversations that bridge the arts, law and criminology.
