Nu Deco Ensemble at Pinecrest Gardens

Nu Deco Ensemble brings soul, contemporary classical music and Baroque repertoire together in an open-air program at Pinecrest Gardens. The concert takes place Saturday, October 17 at the Banyan Bowl and opens the ensemble’s new season. Its centerpiece is the return of Nu Deco’s Curtis Mayfield Suite, an orchestral tribute to the soul artist’s socially conscious songwriting and groove-centered sound.

The program also includes Valerie Coleman’s Umoja Unbound, a work centered on unity and community, along with Nu Deco’s atmospheric original Tree Speak and Vivaldi’s “Fall” from The Four Seasons. A guest artist will be announced.

Tickets are general admission, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rows A–D are reserved for qualifying Nu Deco members and other designated guests. Doors open one hour before the performance.
