Nu Deco Ensemble
Apr 11, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
Orchestral grandeur meets disco-inspired sparkle in a season finale that spans the cosmos and the dance floor.
Nu Deco Ensemble performs Saturday, April 11 at the Adrienne Arsht Center, closing out its 11th Season with a program that pairs Gustav Holst’s The Planets with a newly created symphonic suite honoring the legendary music of the Bee Gees. Developed in collaboration with guitarist Steve Gibb, son of Barry Gibb, the suite reimagines the Bee Gees’ enduring sound for a full orchestra. A surprise guest artist will also join the ensemble, adding an element of anticipation to the evening.
Founded in 2015 by Jacomo Bairos and Sam Hyken, Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble is acclaimed for its genre-bending collaborations and inventive reimaginings that bridge classical tradition with pop, jazz, and global influences. Praised by The New York Times as a “chamber orchestra for the 21st century,” the group continues to push the boundaries of what orchestral music can be in contemporary culture.
