PAMM Art Storytime: Sculpture in Quadrants

Stories, color and creativity come together in this playful morning program designed for young art lovers and their caregivers.

PAMM Art Storytime: Sculpture in Quadrants takes place on Saturday, November 22 at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Inspired by the geometric works of Frank Stella, this session invites Pre-K children to explore counting, color and imagination through art and storytelling.

Families will begin with a guided museum tour, followed by a reading of “One Was Johnny (A Book of Counting)” by Maurice Sendak. Afterward, participants can create their own math-inspired sculptural artworks using colorful materials that encourage experimentation with pattern and form.

The event is free with RSVP, open to the first 50 guests, and offers a fun, hands-on way for families to engage with art while learning together.
