Park After Dark: Jeepers on the Jetty

Fishing, trick-or-treating and a campfire program give Biscayne National Park a marine-themed Halloween twist during an afternoon and evening at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center. Held Saturday, October 17, Park After Dark: Jeepers on the Jetty is a free family event inspired by sailors, sea creatures and stories from the water.

The program begins with a fishing clinic from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by trick-or-treating, games and activities from 4 to 6 p.m. After sunset, the evening concludes with a walk along the boardwalk, spooky storytelling around the campfire and s’mores from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Costumes are encouraged, particularly marine-themed looks such as pirates, sharks, sailors and mermaids. Admission and all activities are free.
