Perfumer for a Day
Oct 18, 2026
From: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Italian perfumer Patrizio Monteleone leads a hands-on fragrance workshop exploring how scent, memory and composition come together in perfume making. Held Sunday, October 18 at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, the session introduces participants to aromatic materials and the basic principles used to build a balanced fragrance.
The workshop begins with an overview of perfume composition and scent evaluation before moving into an exercise designed to build olfactory memory. Participants will smell and assess a range of floral, woody and resinous materials, then use those impressions to develop their own perfume or cologne.
Monteleone, founder of Monteleone Fragrances, is known for multisensory work that connects fragrance and flavor. Each participant leaves with a custom scent created during the workshop.
