Peter London Global Dance Company

Contemporary and Afro-diaspora dance take the stage at the Miami Beach Bandshell with a program of premieres and repertory works by the Peter London Global Dance Company. The performance takes place Thursday, May 28, supported by the Miami Beach Department of Cultural Affairs.

The evening features four new solo works created and performed by women of the company, each exploring personal narratives through movement. The program also includes A Folk’s Tale by choreographer Jamar Roberts, a duet that reflects on the African American experience, alongside Peter London’s Caribbean Carnival Dance, which draws from diasporic traditions and musical influences.

Set to compositions by Etienne Charles, the program brings together multiple choreographic voices, highlighting a range of styles rooted in contemporary dance and cultural expression.
