Award-winning pianists Lindsay Garritson and Anastasiya Naplekova share the keyboard in a program of rarely heard works arranged for piano four-hands. The evening includes the South Florida premiere of Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet in Theodore Kirchner’s 4-hand transcription, Franz Liszt’s symphonic poem Les Préludes in a seldom-performed version, and Maurice Ravel’s La Valse as arranged by Lucien Garban.
Presented as part of the FIU Herbert and Nicole Wertheim School of Music 2025-2026 season, Piano Concert: Lindsay Garritson & Anastasiya Naplekova takes place Saturday, October 18 at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center.
