Quit and Buddies (Snodgrass + Stevensons)

A night of punk-rooted live music brings together a foundational Miami band and a collaborative touring project at a longtime Little Haiti venue.

Quit and Buddies perform Thursday, April 2 at Churchill’s Pub. Formed in the late 1980s, Quit emerged from Miami’s early punk and skate scene and remains one of the city’s enduring underground acts, known for its melodic yet high-energy sound and history alongside influential alternative bands.

Buddies, a project led by longtime musician Jon Snodgrass, features Snodgrass performing alongside members of Stevensons. The collaboration blends punk, indie and Americana influences, reflecting Snodgrass’s decades-spanning work across multiple bands and touring projects.

With its intimate setting and legacy as a cornerstone of Miami’s independent music community, Churchill’s provides a fitting backdrop for a lineup that connects the city’s punk history with ongoing collaborative scenes.
