RESISTANCE: Deep Dish
Dec 27, 2025
Starting: 10:00 PM
A late-night club set draws from decades of underground dance music history as a foundational house duo returns to one of Miami Beach’s flagship electronic music residencies.
RESISTANCE: Deep Dish takes place on Saturday, December 27 at M2 Miami on Miami Beach. The event is part of Season 3 of RESISTANCE Miami, the long-running Saturday residency known for pairing immersive production with internationally recognized house and techno artists.
Deep Dish, the Grammy-winning duo of Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi, emerged in the 1990s as central figures in the rise of deep and progressive house. Their 1998 debut album, Junk Science, helped define a sound that bridged club culture and crossover appeal, followed by influential tracks such as “Say Hello” and “Flashdance.” Beyond their own releases, the duo became equally known for remixes of artists including Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher and Stevie Nicks, reinforcing their reach across underground and mainstream dance floors.
Hosted at M2 Miami, RESISTANCE’s Miami Beach home base, the night places Deep Dish within a production-driven environment designed for extended, late-night sets. The event is 21+, with doors opening at 10 p.m.
