Roda de Samba with Soul Samba

Traditional Brazilian samba takes over the Miami Beach Bandshell as Soul Samba recreates the communal feel of a Rio roda de samba. The performance takes place Saturday, November 7, with the seven-member ensemble gathered around a central table for an evening built around live rhythms and dancing.
Soul Samba draws on classic samba grooves and the informal, participatory format of the roda, where musicians and audiences share the same social space. DJ Marcello Bentine opens the evening with a set before the band takes the stage.
Admission is free for Miami Beach residents with valid ID.
