Salsa Z
This event has passed.
Beginner-friendly salsa instruction, DJ sets and a younger take on Latin dance culture come together at ZeyZey Miami. Salsa Z takes place Wednesday, June 17, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and class beginning at 7:30 p.m. Presented by Elisa Baena, the recurring series is designed for people who grew up around salsa music but may never have learned the steps.
The class focuses on basic moves and confidence-building for the dance floor, making it accessible to first-time dancers as well as those looking for a relaxed refresher. After the lesson, participants can practice during a DJ-led social that shifts from salsa into perreo and contemporary Latin party sounds.
Happy hour food and drink specials are available from 7 to 8 p.m. The evening continues after class with Salsa vs. Perreo featuring DJ Safe Stadick and additional music.
