Say Tech and Smile: Cannelle + Ali RQ lands at The Ground on Saturday, February 28, with doors at 11 p.m. This 18+ event features a multi-genre lineup inside the intimate venue located on the first floor of the iconic Club Space. Closing time varies per event, and this ticket does not grant access to the Club Space Terrace.

Headlining the evening, Cannelle channels the spirit of disco’s golden decades with sets rooted in 1970s and 1980s funk, Italo disco and soulful dancefloor classics. A Paris-born selector and member of the international collective Boogie Frizzante, Cannelle blends vintage gems with modern edits, drawing on influences from labels like Motown, Salsoul and ZYX Music. Expect shimmering melodies, warm basslines and a retro-leaning sound built for joyful, inclusive dancefloors.

Also featured is New York-based producer and DJ Ali RQ, known for maximalist, high-BPM sets that blur electro house, dubstep, Europop and post-Y2K pop nostalgia. Her remix-driven approach slices and reshapes familiar vocals into rapid-fire textures, creating relentless, drop-heavy mixes that rarely dip below 140 BPM. A fixture in underground club circuits and remix culture, Ali RQ has built a following for her chaotic, high-impact transitions and reimagined takes on 2010s-era anthems.

The lineup continues with Velvette Blue, INSTINCT and Nico Nastii, rounding out a bill that spans disco revivalism, tech-inflected club sounds and forward-leaning electronic selections.
