Simon Jano Sessions Live Medicine Music: El Camino takes place Friday, December 12. Jano appears with José Gregorio Hernández on percussion, Hernán Álvarez on cello and Angel Morelli on woodwinds, presenting a set informed by indigenous instruments and cross-cultural rhythms. The program also includes contributions from pianist and composer Nelson Ramírez, traditional medicine man Jerome Rockwell and folk musician Keysel Peláez, each adding distinct elements through performance, storytelling or vocal collaboration.
