Sinners at Rooftop Cinema Club
Through Feb 23, 2026
Select Days
Starting: 10:00 PM
A late-night rooftop screening leans into Southern Gothic horror, unfolding a story of return, reckoning, and inherited evil shaped as much by place as by memory.
Sinners screens Saturday, February 7 and Monday, February 23 at Rooftop Cinema Club on Miami Beach, beginning at 10 p.m. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film follows twin brothers who attempt to outrun their past by returning to their hometown, only to discover that what they left behind has been waiting for them. Blending psychological horror with social allegory, Sinners explores themes of moral decay, cyclical violence and the weight of generational history, allowing dread to build slowly through atmosphere, character and unease rather than shock.
As part of Rooftop Cinema Club’s Celebrating Black Cinema series, the screening aligns with Black History Month programming that spotlights Black filmmakers and storytelling traditions across genres.
The screening takes place in Rooftop Cinema Club’s open-air setting, with seating options including individual Adirondack chairs and double-width loveseats designed for shared viewing. Select ticket options include popcorn, and all seating faces the venue’s outdoor screen.
