Sixteen Strings

Ocean Drive comes alive with the sound of jazz, pop and improvisation as Sixteen Strings takes the stage for this week’s Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series in Lummus Park.

Guitarists Tom Lippincott and Edgar De la Torre blend the tones of their eight-string guitars in dynamic interplay, joined by percussionist Steve Kornicks, who anchors the performance with rhythmic flair. Together, the trio reimagines classic rock, pop and jazz favorites through layered harmonies and spontaneous improvisation.

Sixteen Strings performs at Lummus Park (between 14th Street and 14th Place) on Sunday, November 2 at 5 p.m. Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. In case of rain, the concert will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
