A night of internet-born rap, hyperpop and experimental club sounds takes over The Boombox Miami for a late-night showcase of underground artists and DJs. SMILE.RIP Fest takes place Saturday, May 16.
Headlining the lineup is rapper Kreayshawn, known for her breakout viral hit “Gucci Gucci” and her role in shaping the early-2010s internet rap scene with a style blending hip-hop, pop and DIY digital culture. The festival also features performances by Jupiluxe, Apockrysis and BeastBoyBPD, artists connected to emerging online music communities that fuse rap, hyperpop, electronic production and experimental performance aesthetics.
Between live sets, DJs Hopper1000, DJ Orange Julius, Pretty R1cky and Worlock keep the dance floor moving. The event is open to guests ages 18 and older, and a valid physical ID is required for entry.
