Sounds of Little Haiti Holiday After Party at Lakou

A late-night after party extends the rhythms and community energy of a monthly Little Haiti music series into an intimate, walkable setting just steps from the main venue.

Sounds of Little Haiti Holiday After Party at Lakou takes place on Friday, December 19, following the evening’s Sounds of Little Haiti program at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Presented by the Purforce Group and the Route 1804 Foundation, the after party offers a relaxed continuation of the night with music, dancing and casual late-hour socializing.

Lakou, located behind the Caribbean Marketplace, is designed as a communal gathering space inspired by the traditional Haitian backyard, emphasizing warmth, culture and shared celebration. Admission is free for all Sounds of Little Haiti ticket holders, allowing attendees to move directly from the main event into a more informal, late-night atmosphere without leaving the neighborhood.

The after party is scheduled to begin immediately following Sounds of Little Haiti and features nonstop music, food and craft drinks in a setting rooted in Little Haiti’s cultural fabric.
