Sounds of Little Haiti
Feb 20, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
A monthly outdoor concert series spotlights contemporary Haitian music and culture in the heart of Little Haiti.
Sounds of Little Haiti takes place Friday, February 20, at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, featuring a live performance by KLASS, a prominent band in modern Haitian music. Known for shaping the sound of konpa with polished production and high-energy stage shows, the group brings its signature blend of rhythm, melody and crowd-driven performance to this edition of the series. Hosted by Mecca AKA Grimo, the evening centers on live music alongside food, cocktails and a social atmosphere that draws together the local community.
Designed as a family-friendly experience, the event includes a dedicated Kids Zone classroom staffed by a certified teacher, allowing parents to enjoy the concert while younger children play in a supervised space. Children ages five and under are admitted free. VIP tables and bottle service options are available for groups looking to reserve space, and an official after-party continues nearby at Lakou, extending the night beyond the main concert.
Held regularly at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, Sounds of Little Haiti celebrates Haitian culture through music, gathering and place, offering a consistent platform for live konpa performances and community connection in one of Miami’s most culturally significant neighborhoods.
