The Little Haiti Cultural Complex sets the stage for an evening of music, culture and community as a beloved local tradition marks a major milestone. Known for spotlighting Haitian artistry and fostering neighborhood connection, Sounds of Little Haiti continues to serve as a vibrant celebration of heritage in the heart of Miami.
The 10th Anniversary of Sounds of Little Haiti takes place on Friday, May 16, kicking off Haitian Flag Weekend with a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. The evening features a headlining performance by the legendary Orchestre Tropicana d’Haiti, offering a live musical experience rooted in decades of Haitian cultural legacy.
The celebration includes food vendors serving Haitian cuisine, a lively crowd and the familiar presence of longtime host Mecca AKA Grimo, who will guide the evening’s festivities. Presented by Purforce Group and the Route 1804 Foundation, this anniversary edition continues the spirit of the Sounds of Little Haiti music series, honoring ten years of musical storytelling and community gathering.
