Soundscape Cinema Series: The Goonies

A treasure-hunting adventure unfolds under the stars as The Goonies screens at SoundScape Park in Miami Beach. The Wednesday, October 14 presentation is part of the 17th season of the free SoundScape Cinema Series, which projects films onto the 7,000-square-foot wall of the New World Center.
Directed by Richard Donner, the 1985 adventure follows a group of friends who discover an old treasure map and set out to find a long-lost fortune. Their search leads them through underground tunnels and booby traps while they try to stay ahead of a family of criminals pursuing the same prize.
The PG-rated film is presented outdoors, rain or shine. Attendees may bring blankets and picnic baskets for the screening.
