South Florida HBCU Picnic

HBCU alumni, students, families and supporters gather in Miami Gardens for an afternoon of school pride, community connection and scholarship fundraising. The 10th Annual South Florida HBCU Picnic takes place Saturday, July 25 at Rolling Oaks Park. Founded in 2015, the annual gathering supports scholarships for students from South Florida attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country.
The family-friendly picnic brings together local alumni associations and HBCU supporters for music, games and informal networking. Attendees are encouraged to wear school gear, reconnect with classmates and take part in a community tradition centered on HBCU excellence and educational access.
Food will be available for purchase, and guests may also bring picnic baskets or coordinate with their alumni associations for catering arrangements. All adult attendees must register; children attending with an adult are admitted free and do not need a ticket.
