Spring Break Beach Cleanup
Through Mar 22, 2025
weekly on Saturday
March 25: 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM | March 22: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Local residents and visitors can join a community effort to restore and maintain the cleanliness of Miami Beach's shoreline during the spring travel season. The Spring Break Beach Cleanup, presented by Clean Miami Beach, takes place on March 15 from 5-7 p.m. and March 22 from 4-6 p.m. at the beach near 10th Street.
Participants will gather at the designated meeting point marked by a turtle flag, where they will receive sanitized gardening gloves, buckets, bags and pickers to collect litter from the shoreline and dunes. Organizers recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for safe navigation through dune areas and reef-safe sun protection including hats.
The event is supported by several partners including Hippie Organics, ECF Wealth, City of Miami Beach and Delta Air Lines. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable water containers, with refill stations available on site.
Those seeking community service hours must arrive promptly, as the cleanup will begin at the scheduled time. Parking options include a nearby garage at 1041 Collins Avenue or metered street parking in the surrounding area. The GPS address for the location is 1001 Ocean Drive.
This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages who wish to contribute to coastal conservation efforts.
