Spring Garden Day: Wonder in the Gardens
Mar 21, 2026
From: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A family-focused garden celebration brings history, nature and hands-on learning together during Spring Garden Day at Pinecrest Gardens, with interactive programs presented by HistoryMiami Museum.
This gathering takes place Saturday, March 21, as part of Pinecrest Gardens’ themed event, Wonder in the Gardens. Through its In-Community initiative, HistoryMiami Museum extends its educational programming beyond museum walls, offering all-ages activities that explore local history through interactive art making and objects from the museum’s teaching collection. The experience is designed to spark curiosity, creativity and shared discovery among families.
Throughout the gardens, visitors can explore a full slate of activities woven around the theme of wonder, including poetry, hands-on children’s activities, garden exploration and interactive booths hosted by community partners and local vendors. Guests will also have opportunities to meet Pinecrest Gardens’ horticulture team and enjoy amenities across the grounds, from splash areas to climbing and play spaces.
A sensory-friendly hour runs from 9 to 10 a.m., offering limited admission and early access for families with cognitive sensitivities. General admission opens at 10 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and bathing suits and enjoy food available from on-site vendors for a relaxed, stay-and-play day immersed in nature and learning.
