Saint Sophia’s 46th annual Greek Festival returns on Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3 to Miami’s historic Roads neighborhood. This annual tradition features popular Greek delicacies such as mousaka (egg plant), pastitsio (Greek lasagna), spanokopita (spinach pie) and tyropita (cheese pie), lamb, gyros, souvlaki, Greek salads and favorite Greek pastries including baklava and honey-dipped loukoumades. The Festival will also feature daily cooking demonstrations and an outdoor Taverna with popular food items and baked goods.
Enjoy live music and performances throughout all three days of the festival. Shop at an array of booths offering arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, religious art and devotional items and books will be on hand. Guided tours of South Florida’s oldest Byzantine cathedral will be offered each day, highlighting Saint Sophia’s rich history.
