Street Stages: Dave & Alex

Flamenco-inspired guitar and Latin acoustic rhythms fill Downtown Miami’s Flagler Street during the Street Stages series. Dave & Alex perform Saturday, March 14 at the outdoor stage across from Lost Boy and Over Under.

The Miami-based duo is led by guitarist and composer David Neira, an Ecuadorian-born multi-instrumentalist whose musical background spans classical, jazz, rock and Latin traditions. Together, the pair blend flamenco techniques, Latin melodies and contemporary acoustic influences, creating performances built around rhythmic strumming, expressive solos and improvisation. Their sound transforms two guitars into a rich, layered musical experience that moves between fiery rhythms and lyrical passages.

The performance is part of Street Stages, a free outdoor series activating the historic Flagler District with live entertainment. Presented by Olympia Arts MIAMI, the program brings local musicians, ensembles and performers to Flagler Street, creating a lively setting where passersby, sidewalk diners and visitors can stop to listen and experience live music in Downtown Miami.
