Street Stages: LaVie
Mar 08, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM
R&B, soul and funk rhythms fill the streets of downtown Miami during a live performance by LaVie in the Flagler District. Street Stages: LaVie takes place Saturday, March 7 across from Lost Boy and Over Under, as part of the Street Stages winter series.
Born and raised in Miami to Haitian immigrant parents, LaVie blends neo-soul influences with Caribbean-inspired elements in her music. She released her debut album Life in 2009 and has performed in cities including New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh, where she has also opened for Ky-Mani Marley. Her performances combine soulful vocals with dance-oriented grooves shaped by her multicultural background.
The event is part of Street Stages: Dancing in the Street, a free performance series activating downtown Miami’s historic Flagler Street. Held Fridays and Saturdays through March 21, the program showcases local musicians and performers while inviting visitors, sidewalk diners and passersby to experience the district’s evolving festival streetscape. Admission is free and open to the public.
