Taste America: Miami

The James Beard Foundation® brings its Taste America culinary series back to Miami on Thursday, October 17. Presented by Capital One, this year's event will be held at Maty’s in the Midtown area.

The pop-up dinner features recent James Beard Award winner Valerie Chang of Maty's. Chef Chang, recognized as a rising star in the culinary world, will present a multi-course menu alongside chef Tam Pham of Tâm Tâm. Chang's celebrated cooking style incorporates her Peruvian heritage with creative interpretations of classic dishes.

Taste America events celebrate local independent restaurants and the talented chefs who bring them to life. Beyond promoting culinary excellence, proceeds from the event benefit the James Beard Foundation's programs focused on equity, sustainability and women's leadership in the industry
