Art, memory, and transformation take center stage as the Olga M. & Carlos A. Saladrigas Art Gallery hosts a special evening honoring the work of Edouard Duval-Carrié.
The Alchemy of History: Closing Reception, taking place Thursday, November 13, offers a final opportunity to experience The Alchemy of History: The Vision of Edouard Duval-Carrié. The exhibition features 48 pieces from the artist’s President, Important Women, and Kingdom of This World series, including two chandeliers and a sculptural sugar boat.
Guests are invited to reflect on themes of Caribbean identity, displacement and resilience while connecting with fellow art enthusiasts. Light refreshments will be served.
