The Hour: A Silent Reading Night

Readers can settle in with a book for a phone-free hour of quiet reading and conversation on ZeyZey’s outdoor Zaku Stage in Little Haiti. Presented Tuesday, October 13 by Maalik Meets in partnership with Tinder, The Hour combines 45 minutes of communal reading with a brief book-sharing session and social time afterward.

During the final portion of the evening, 10 participants will each have one minute to recommend the book they brought before the gathering opens into casual mingling. Guests may attend alone or with friends, and admission includes a welcome drink.
