Roll up your sleeves and prepare to share a story about perseverance at The Moth StorySLAM: Elbow Grease. This open-mic competition on Thursday, September 5 at the Sandrell Rivers Theater is your chance to share a tale about grit, determination and the satisfaction of a job well done.
The Moth welcomes storytellers of all backgrounds to weave a five-minute narrative about anything that embodies the theme of elbow grease. Did you spend hours mastering a new skill? Overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle? This is your platform to share the sweat, the struggle and the ultimate triumph. Entertain the audience, win bragging rights (and maybe a Moth StorySLAM championship title), and celebrate the power of human effort. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
