Third Horizon Film Festival
Through Jun 01, 2025
Discover bold cinema and global perspectives from the Caribbean and its diaspora during four days of films, conversations and cultural programming at this year’s Third Horizon Film Festival. The event features work by both emerging and established filmmakers who challenge dominant narratives and explore themes of history, identity and place.
The eighth annual Third Horizon Film Festival runs May 29 through June 1 at the Koubek Center in Miami, with opening night events at Pérez Art Museum Miami. A virtual edition follows from June 2 to 8, offering select programming for global audiences. The festival includes a curated lineup of screenings, artist talks, panels and live performances, creating space for both creative discovery and critical dialogue.
Passes are available at various levels: all-access in-person passes ($280 general admission, $230 for students and seniors), virtual access ($80), and single-day passes ($60). With a continued focus on independent and diasporic filmmaking, the festival affirms its commitment to cinema as a medium for resistance, reflection and cultural transformation.
