Tour of Italy Wine Dinner: Southern Italy takes place on Thursday, February 3 at the Biltmore Hotel Miami in Coral Gables. The seated dinner focuses on wines from Southern Italian regions including Campania and Sicilia, paired with a menu inspired by Mediterranean cooking.
Sommelier Jorge Lopez leads the evening, pairing aromatic whites and full-bodied red wines with dishes created by Calabrian chef Francesco Pescatore. A Southern Italy wine specialist is also on hand to provide context on the featured regions, offering insight into grape varieties, styles and winemaking traditions. The program is designed as an immersive dining experience centered on regional food and wine.
