Twilight at Patch: Full Moon Forest Bath
This event has passed.
A twilight forest-bathing experience unfolds at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary as participants gather under February's full Snow Moon for an evening of quiet immersion in nature. Designed to encourage stillness and sensory awareness, the program invites attendees to step away from the pace of daily life and into the sanctuary’s 124-year-old forest at dusk.
The event features a silent, guided walk led by Suzanne Jewell, Patch’s Chief Experience Officer and a certified Mindful Nature Guide℠. Participants move through the landscape without conversation, engaging in practices that emphasize noticing, breath and the subtle shifts of light and sound at twilight. Time is also dedicated to present-moment awareness under the moonlight, drawing on principles of forest bathing and the restorative effects associated with nature exposure at dusk.
Framed by the Snow Moon’s longstanding associations with intuition, listening and the courage to focus inward, the experience offers a gentle reset at the start of a new year—a chance to pause, express gratitude and mindfully prepare for what's ahead—within a protected old-growth environment.
This event takes place Saturday, February 7. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to begin on time.
