Vamos a Pescar
Oct 10, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Families can learn basic fishing skills and spend the day outdoors at Tropical Park during a free hands-on program centered on angling and aquatic habitats. Presented Saturday, October 10 by Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces through its EcoAdventures program, the annual Vamos a Pescar event welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels.
Activities include instruction in casting, knot tying and net casting, along with opportunities to fish in the park’s lake and visit information booths hosted by community partners. Participants may bring their own gear or borrow equipment provided at the event, and no fishing license is required.
Food vendors will also be onsite. Admission is free.
