Vice City Comedy Festival: Sergio Mendez takes place Friday, February 27 at the Coral Way theater. Hosted by Michelle Castro, the show features a lineup of comedians from across the U.S. and Canada, culminating with a headlining set by Miami’s own Sergio Mendez.

Known online as @magiccitypacino, Sergio Mendez has built a following with sharp observations rooted in Miami’s culture, contradictions and everyday absurdities. Blending character work, storytelling and crowd-savvy timing, his comedy captures the rhythms of the city with an insider’s wink.

Vice City Comedy Festival is a multi-day event spotlighting Miami’s stand-up scene alongside national talent. Organized by the Center for Social Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the festival spans multiple venues across the city, pairing headliners with curated showcases designed to highlight both emerging comics and established performers.

Just The Funny, one of Miami’s longest-running improv theaters, hosts weekly performances and serves as a training ground for local comedic talent. The venue offers bar service with wine and craft beer selections. No drink minimum is required, and parking options are available nearby.
