Vizcaya Late: Educator Appreciation
Aug 21, 2026
From: 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Teachers and learning communities are the focus of an after-hours evening of music, artmaking and hands-on activities at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Vizcaya Late: Educator Appreciation takes place Friday, August 21, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The program recognizes educators across Miami while highlighting Vizcaya’s long-running work with teachers, students and community learning partners.
Activities include live performances led by a local music teacher, partner resource tables, giveaways and interactive stations throughout the estate. Guests can drop into an outdoor science lab overlooking Biscayne Bay, take part in an open-air making workshop in the Main Garden and visit a pop-up history spotlight in the Main House guided by Vizcaya staff.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the Vizcaya Cafe pop-up. Program activities are included with general admission, though space may be limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers receive free admission, and the event takes place rain or shine.
