Put on your favorite costume and get ready to trick-or-treat or enjoy family-friendly Halloween festivities and visits to pumpkin patches.

5th Annual Spooky Science Monster Mash at Frost Science

Engage in some weird science at the 5th Annual Spooky Science Monster Mash at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science on October 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dress up the family in costume, explore the museum’s special Halloween-themed experiments, and get up close and personal with its spooky prehistoric beasts and creatures of the deep.

Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

Head to the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival for Halloween fun. Stroll the grounds and find carnival rides, pumpkin decorating, fall photo vignettes, a scarecrow village, a cornstalk maze and, of course, a pumpkin patch. You’ll also enjoy a food court full of tasty fall-inspired treats and a pumpkin beer bar where mom and dad can unwind.

Hallowave Family Fun Fest 2021

Head to Washington Avenue and Española Way in South Beach on October 31 for the Hallowave Family Fun Fest, starting at 3 p.m. Trick-or-treat and enjoy the revelry of dozens of superheroes dressed up for the occasion. Fun and games are promised, including a dunk tank, costume contests and music. There will also be tasty treats like cotton candy, snow cones, candy and popcorn. And your pooch is welcome to come along for the fun on-leash.

Halloween Spooky Cupcakes Class

Taste Buds Kitchen in West Miami is hosting a Spooky Halloween Cupcakes Class for children ages 2 to 8 at 11:30 am. on October 31. Dress up in costume and whip up these favorite treats to decorate with monsters, spider webs, or whatever your heart desires.

Halloween Harvest Night at the Berry Farm

Head south to the Berry Farm over Halloween weekend for Halloween Harvest Night, a family-friendly Halloween experience. Come in costume for trick-or-treating and explore the farm as it’s transformed into a spooky cemetery with ghouls and goblins lurking in the shadows.

Howl-O-Ween at Pinecrest Gardens

Pinecrest Gardens has gone to the dogs. On October 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Paws-4-You hosts its annual Howl-O-Ween bash where your four-legged friends are invited to partake in the Doggie Fun Zone Agility Course and wag their tales alongside their human companions. This family-friendly event will feature tricks and treats, a costume contest, a spooky Kid’s Zone, a pumpkin patch, live entertainment and delicious food and drink.

Pumpkin Patch at Pinto’s Farm

Take the family to South Dade for the Pumpkin Patch at Pinto’s Farm, open on Saturdays and Sundays from September 25 through Halloween. Wander through the pumpkin patch and pick out the perfect Halloween pumpkin, then enjoy the fun of farm life with tractor rides, pony rides, pedal boat rides and a magic show. You’ll also have a chance to meet the farm animals and pose for great fall family photos.

Sensory-Friendly Halloween for Children with Special Needs

A Better Day Therapy Learning Center in Doral is hosting a sensory-friendly, not-too-spooky, safe and fun Halloween celebration designed specifically for special needs children on October 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. Your family can dress up in your favorite costumes to trick-or-treat and enjoy Halloween fun without the fear of jump scares, flashing lights and sensory overload.

South Miami’s Spooktacular Safe Streets Halloween Party

The City of South Miami and Miami Kids Magazine invite families to come trick-or-treat along Sunset Drive (Southwest 72nd Street) from 4 to 7 p.m. on October 31 at the Spooktacular Safe Streets Halloween Party. Complete with costume contests, prizes, free candy, pumpkin-decorating and inflatables, the festivities even include a visit from special guest Scooby Doo. You’ll also enjoy live entertainment and music throughout the afternoon.

A day of magical witches

The Witches Of Westward

On October 23 and 24, the Miami Springs Woman’s Clubhouse will host The Witches of Westward, a magical high tea with not-so-spooky storytelling, crafts and games to entertain the whole family. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Woman's Club-supported charities and initiatives.

Zoo Boo 2021

Zoo Miami transforms into Zoo Boo on October 30 and 31, when you can trick-or-treat in costume alongside creatures and critters for a wild Halloween celebration. You’ll meet special zoo characters, watch the animals receive their Halloween treats, participate in costume contests and make Halloween crafts.
